I just wanted to thank everyone for their support of this trip. I logged on a few days ago to see this:



2112 site views in under a week! Not only is that awesome because it's so many, but 2112 has always been one of my favorite numbers. (I'm a huge Rush fan, and coincidentally it's also my home address.)

So anyway, thanks for keeping up with us. Sorry it takes me so long to update it sometimes (but we have hardly any downtime). As I write this, we have 2469 site views, and this is only the 9th day of the trip. I can't wait to see how much that number grows.

Ditto!!! Everyone I talk to who has been on the site thinks it is awesome! In fact I have some friends who are addicted - they check the site 5-6 times a day! It's a way for us to stay connected. Whats 2112 got to do with Rush? You guys going on this trip gives me great ice breakers in conversations with people now. It's great! For example:
Some nice old person at church: It sure is cold today.
Me: Yeah it is, but my sister and her friends just had to shoveled there rv out of ten feet of snow so stop complaining you old geezer!

Sure it hasn't made me any nicer...but I talk more now!

Love following the trip through your photos and comments! Told a college friend of mine about it and he agreed we should have done something on a grand scale like this when we graduated. I guess there's still time. Maybe I should meet you in wine country.
